THE DECENTRALIZATION OF THE COMPONENT SPECIALIZED OF THE PHARMACEUTICAL ASSISTANCE AT 15TH REGION OF HEALTH IN THE CEARÁ STATE

Aim: Analyze the decentralization program of the Specialized Component of Pharmaceutical Services (SCPS) of the 15th RHC (Regional Health Coordination).

Method: This is an experience report, analyzing the flow of program implementation in the year 2009, which began with 18 processes to its full operation in 2013 with 709 processes registered. Data collection was conducted through programs SISMEDEX and Hórus Especializado.

Results: The majors problems were the inclusion criteria requiring compliance with the Clinical Protocols and Therapeutic Guidelines (CPTG) published by the Ministry of Health and the difficulty that small municipalities face the shortage of medical specialists, as some ICD's (International Classification of Diseases) requires that the SMC (Specialized Medical Certificate) and prescription drugs are filled by medical expert, both for registration and for the renewal of continuity of care.

Conclusions: The implementation of the program decentralization of SCPS in the 15th CRES increased the number of patients registered from 18 to 709 in the first four years of implementation.
